Tommy Ellis
Tommy Ellis is a musician and, along with his wife, Margot, a top five bestselling horror author. Specialising in horror short stories, the pair have released two collections so far. Called Grisly Deeds, the first in the series hit five, three and two in the Amazon bestseller charts as well as sharing a top five with the horrormeister himself, Stephen King!
He has also released three middle grade adventures, one of which reached 21 in the Amazon bestseller charts just behind one of the Goosebumps books.
Grisly Deeds
Grisly Deeds is an homage to the classic horror anthologies of the 1960s and 70s. Filled with tales of cold war experiments gone wrong, medical terrors, Victorian and Edwardian gothic, this is a collection to read with all the lights on. That shadow, though… The one in the corner… Did it just move on its own?
Drew Halfpenny
Drew Halfpenny is a historical science fantasy storyteller and writer of the ongoing Steampunk adventure trilogy, The ABC Chronicles.
The first two books in the trilogy, The Connickle Conundrum and The Brunswick Brawler, were published in 2022 and 2024 respectively and the final instalment will be published in the early autumn of 2025.
Having been born, raised and lived all his life in the northwest of England, Salford and Manchester naturally provide the main settings for the trilogy.
His fascination with Steampunk, and science fiction in general, was kindled when he received a copy Jules Verne’s From the Earth to the Moon for his ninth birthday and he cites HG Wells, Isaac Asimov and HP Lovecraft as major influences on his descriptive style of speculative fiction.
When he isn’t writing or brainstorming his next project, he enjoys reading, collecting comics and European symphonic metal music!
