Event Information to Traders

Where and when is the event?

The event at Portmeirion will be open to the public 9:30am – 5:30pm Saturday and Sunday, 3rd and 4th May 2025.

How do I find the Venue?

The address of the main venue is:
Minffordd,
Penrhyndeudraeth,
Gwynedd, LL48 6ER.

Take a look at our event map for more details www.steampunk.wales/map

What do I do when I reach Portmeirion?

Follow the signs towards the toll gate (not the car park/exit). You will see road barriers in place – please provide the staff at the toll gate with your name and trader/business name. The staff should then be able to guide you towards Salutation square. Please drive carefully within the village – the space is open to the public and other service vehicles/buggys will be operating in the area.

Due to the number of traders and traffic within the Portmeirion village, we will be allocating times for traders/exhibitors to bring vehicles on site to setup and packup. Please make sure that you attempt to arrive within your allocated timeslot. If for any reason you are unable, you may be asked to wait at the tollgate until there is sufficient space for vehicles in the village.

If you are unable to arrive within your allocated timeslot, please notify Steve in advance so that we can arrange necessary adjustments for your arrival. Contact information can be found at the bottom of the page.

When do I need to be set-up prior to the event?

Set up for traders is open on the Friday afternoon between 12PM – 8PM.

Set up for traders on Saturday morning will be from 7:30am – 9:00am, ready for opening at 09:30am.

On our logistics form you would have provided a provisional timeslot for setup (to help reduce traffic congestion in the village),

Where can I park?

Portmeirion is a vehicle-free zone, therefore we request that cars/vans to be off-site and moved to the dedicated car park before 9:30am.

Traders can sleep in their vehicles overnight (in the designated Trades parking area) and parking is free for Portmeirion.

To reach the designated traders parking area, follow the signs for the parking/exit. Turn left into the car park and immediately turn right and follow the sign for large vehicles/deliveries. Head towards the end of the car park (direction of the buildings). Traders parking is on the far right (where the transit van is parked in the photo), before the hedge line (do not park beyond the no-entry sign).

Where will my stall be based and when will I know?

Pitch spaces will be allocated prior to the event via the ‘Stall Allocation’ section on this page, a plan will also be on display on the day.

Please ensure that you have all the relevant insurance up to date.
